I watched Mystic River today, and while it was an extremely sad and depressing movie, I enjoyed the overall presentation and the twist in the plot. It is a good movie but definately not a fun ride. If you appreciate a good gritty story watch it.

Normally I only watch depressing movies when I need a pick-me-up. Like if I'm feeling shitty about my day, I can say "Well at least it wasn't THAT bad..." Unfortunately for Clint and the rest of the Mystic River bunch, I watched it on a relatively good day. Therefore, the verdict: Hated it. Too fucking depressing. It was like someone got together all of the inmates on death row, gave them some paper, and said: "Tell us the most fucked up depressing shit you can imagine, and we'll take all of it and make a movie".
Give me a break, I'm a busy guy. I work 6 days a week and am trying to get my yard put in on my 1 day off a week, so I do apologize for being a selfish ass and not posting for a while. Bite me!

Yep, that pretty much sums it up, but I did still enjoy it, Rachelle however did not like it at all.
